Growing in the Spirit: A New Testament perspective

Please join us for wine and cheese before a public lecture by Dr Bill Salier speaking on “Growing in the Spirit - a New Testament Perspective”.

Dr Bill Salier is currently the Principal of Youthworks College , a college that specialises in ministry training for those involved with ministry to children and youth. Bill became a Christian in his late teens, started working life as a primary school teacher before completing theology studies. Bill has a Ph D from Cambridge University (UK), with a thesis titled: The Rhetorical Impact of the Semeia in the Gospel of John. Bill is also a board member of the Titus Foundation.

Bill is married with three girls and lives in the inner city of Sydney. He became a Christian in his late teens, started working life as a primary school teacher before completing a BTh at Moore College, working as an assistant minister in an Anglican church in Sydney’s southwest and lecturing at Moore College. His special area of interest is John’s writings in the New Testament.

Wine and cheese (7-7:30pm) will be followed by a public lecture (7:30-8:30pm) and question time (8:30-9pm).
