Ridley College Melbourne - A Less Straight Forward Future (Alf Stanway 2023 Lecture)

Join us for the Alf Stanway Lecture in Mission on Wednesday 22 March 2023. Steve McApline is the guest speaker. The title for this lecture is:

A Less Straight Forward Future

An Exploration of the Church and its Mission

Tim Keller has recently suggested that the decline of the church in the West may not be as inevitable as many suppose. This lecture will explore the current pressures facing people both of faith and of no faith, and what hope this might give the church for its future.

About the Speaker: Stephen McAlpine

Stephen  is the Director for Cultural Engagement at City-to-City Australia. His role is to help churches and other faith settings such as Christian schools engage faithfully and fruitfully with the secular culture in which we find ourselves.   Stephen has a background in church pastoring and planting, and is a blogger and writer.
