In the meantime, here is a little bit about Matt:

Matthew Newkirk is president and professor of Old Testament at Christ Bible Seminary (CBS) in Nagoya, Japan. He holds a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Reformed Theological Seminary, a PhD in Old Testament from Wheaton College, and was ordained by the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) in 2011. Prior to CBS he taught Hebrew and Old Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando and Queensland Theological College in Brisbane, Australia. He is the author of Just Deceivers: An Exploration of the Motif of Deception in the Books of Samuel and Fill the Earth: The Creation Mandate and the Church’s Call to Missions. He and his wife, Caroline, have five children.
