A fabulous way to learn how to read the bible is to explore on YouTube the “Read Scripture – bible book” presentations by Bible Project (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVfwlh9XpX2Y_tQfjeln9QA)
Every book of the bible is listed and each presentation gives a short, cartoon based overview of how the book is structured and what it is basically about. Easy to watch, brilliant analysis and extremely helpful for anyone wanting to understand the bible. Great for everyone. Just search ‘Read Scripture’ and the bible book name and it will come up.
